School Research Themes

Research in the School is focused on two major themes: Sensing and Processing, and Sustainable Energy.

Sensing and Processing

Research areas include: Electromagnetics, Microelectronics, Radars, Signal & Image Processing, Telecommunication & Wireless Systems, and Terahertz (T-Ray) Imaging.

Sustainable Energy

Research areas are: Power Electronics and Electrical Machines, and Power Systems.

Concept 2 Creation program endorsed

The SA Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology has endorsed, with funding support, the Concept 2 Creation (C2C) suite of programs. The C2C program delivers STEM projects in schools and is managed by the Northern Advanced Manufacturing Group (NAMIG), an industry-led not-for-profit organisation. Professor Lincoln Wood was the foundation Chair of NAMIG and continues to be actively engaged in strategic planning for C2C.
