Future Postgraduate Students
Coursework Degree Programs
The two-year Master of Engineering program is intended for graduates with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical), (Electronic) or (Telecommunications) or similar qualification, who wish to undertake more advanced studies in selected specialist topics in electronic systems, electrical power systems, or signal processing. It provides an opportunity to study advanced level courses in Power Engineering, Telecommunications, Microelectronics, Signal and Image Processing, and Electromagnetics, as well as to develop advanced levels of understanding of related topics in mathematics, project management and system engineering. A feature of the programs is a major research project in the second year.
An exit path will be available for students completing only the foundation year, after that they satisfy a set requirement within the relevant discipline. In this case a Graduate Diploma will be awarded.
